3rd Party Access Endorsement Request

Dear Industry Captain

Please click here to find a request and motivation letter for Industry endorsement of Third-Party Access to the South African Rail Network. We humbly request your endorsement and support for this important Policy change. We also request that you fill in this online form to declare whether you choose to endorse the Third-Party Access study.

The African Rail Industry Association (ARIA) will submit endorsements to the Department of Transport to accelerate the implementation of Third-Party Access to revitalise the Rail Industry and support economic growth in the country.

The African Rail Industry Association (ARIA) is a member-driven community that seeks to improve the competitiveness of the African Rail Industry in global export markets. ARIA exists for the protection and promotion of its member organisations along with companies in the Railway Industry.

ARIA is a fully-fledged Export Council established and supported by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. As an industry representative body, we are a recognised Association by the Rail Safety Regulator in terms of the National Railways Safety Regulator Act (s 7(b)(2)), as well as an employer representative at the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA).
